Engine Compartment Vehicle System

The Spectrex system is an automatic fire/ detection system, specifically designed for Engine Compartments of combat and tactical Vehicles providing increased survivability against fires initiated by IED's and penetrating munitions.

In the engine compartment - the system has the capability of detecting overheat and fire and of successfully extinguishing fuel fires. 

The system can be expanded to a double shot system by adding one extinguishing cylinder. 

System is automatic and includes a manual activation switch as back-up.
